IBN ZOHR UNIVERSITY (IRF-SIC Laboratory)
Who are they?
Ibn Zohr University is a multidiscipline institution including university education and research. The Laboratory IRF-SIC ("Laboratoire Image et Reconnaissance de Formes – Systèmes Intelligents et Communicants") lead research, since many years, in the area of Image processing, pattern recognition and their applications.
In the project, their research role is the segmentation of pair of IR and visible domains images; 3D reconstruction from the IR and visible domains images and segmentation results; analysis through time of these 3D images to estimate temperature, color, and 3D shape parameters.
What did they do?
IRF SIC is involved in multiple international projects:
- Project PHC Volubilis : SEIW : « santé et extraction d’images basées sur le watermarking », AI : MA/21/ 279, 2012-2015 ; coordinator: H.Douzi.
- Euromed Program 3+3 AIDA (Archivage et Indexation Intelligente de Documents en Langue Arabe) with INRIA Nancy, LITIS Rouen, ENIS Tunisie, Université de Barcelone, 2009-2012.
- European Project PALMERA 6, Université Laguna - Région SMD 2012-14, Convention CNRST – CNRS CESBIO – CNES – Toulouse – France Télédétection et Systèmes d’Information Géo Référenciés : Application à la Cartographie Thématique de la Région d’Agadir, 2009-2012.
